He has alienated every ally country you guys have, shouldn’t really be a surprise, but don’t worry Ole Kim,and Vlad think he is just tops.

He is the antithesis of what Britons consider a leader. They admire calm, polite witty, humorous, intellect that responds to a critical comment with a riposte, not a tantrum. They are very much. Into social status and class, and don’t at a”” approve of an upstart landlord who thinks he can buy class.

Is this a serious question? We’re the “Little kids” and our big brothers and sisters are going to step up and brawl on our account.

I don’t get it. He’s the best president we’ve ever had. He’s a stable genius and in tip top shape. What’s to hate?

America had HUGE protests against Trump when he was first in office, I’m not sure I’d say what happened over the past few days surpassed our own.

The Brits got out and protested when Trump was in the country, and then I’m sure it will slack off. What do the Brits have to lose by protesting? It’s not their president.

Trump is crass, rude, and often undignified, and it’s the antithesis of the stiff upper lip and rules of etiquette that Brits expect from a leader.

Moreover, the UK is full Brits who were against BREXIT, and Trump represents the American brand of BREXIT. Great Britain is about to go through a major change, people are nervous, especially about trade, just like many Americans.

Plenty of Americans on my Facebook feed continue almost daily to protest Trump in writing.

He’s not very popular in Scotland either. He hasn’t ventured north of the border on his latest visit to the UK but the protesters were on the streets of Glasgow and Edinburgh yesterday. My favourite anti Trump placard read…Super callous fragile racist sexist Nazi potus.

Trump seems most popular, in places where ideas are more controlled by the popular thoughts of the uneducated/brainwashed, sheeps…. Usually, to the benefit of the most wealthy/elite…

Typically dictatorships….

Why would there not be ridicule of our president? He’s funny looking, he speaks in an undignified manner, waving his hands around and pointing at the air, he makes fun of people’s physical issues, he makes comments about women’s weight, he makes fun of everything about everybody, he talks about grabbing women by the pussy, he lies and says he didn’t say things even though they’re recorded, the list goes on and on and on and on and on…....

^With all due respect, you are asking for a logic, that Trump supporters, simply refuse to acknowledge.

Because it’s quite difficult for them to see America, a country they like and admire ( I bet ) having the most indecent and sick joke of a person in the WH.

Meh, screw that shit into a cocked hat.
He should marry the Queen & become King…now that would be truly hilarious.

Plus he called Meghan “nasty”.

When he started the visit by insulting the Mayor of London & also the country’s beloved Princess, I was fearing a riot & all he received was a protest. I think he was lucky!!!

Oops, I forgot, thousands came out to cheer him & only a few protested…fake news runs rampant!!!

ucme's avatar

Haha, bloody hell, look at the hysterical nonsesnse :D
The trip has been widely claimed to have been a resounding success, largely due to the Queen & her expertly placed diplomatic skills honed over the years.
He responded to the Mayor of London’s childish dig at him & as for Meghan, he was referring to her criticism of him being “nasty” not the, err…“beloved” princess herself.
But hey, knock yourselves out with whatever bullshit suits your needs.

@ucme haha!!!!!

People from other countries always have and always will love/ hate the states. Every time I’ve travelled, they’ve hated whomever is in the WH at the time. I remember a Scottish man in Mexico who swore up and down Bush was the debil….lol

@LadyMarissa Trump also said on his visit that he wanted to privatise Britain’s health service as part of a post Brexit trade deal a suggestion that sent such shock waves through the country that Trump had to retract.

As far as the protests go I attended one in Glasgow and while the turnout in the rain was disappointing with only maybe a couple of hundred taking part I saw not one, not one Trump supporter.

I don’t know where you got your figures from but you can gauge the feelings of the people of the UK towards Trump from the numbers signing the following UK government petitions:

1. Prevent Donald Trump from making a State Visit to the United Kingdom (Petition 171928) 1,863,708 signatures.

2. Donald Trump should make a State Visit to the United Kingdom (petition 178844 ) 317,542 signatures.

Hilariously desperate equating people outside the US’ dislike and/or criticism of Obama with the sensational and obvious disgust of an orange evil blob. Such B.S. ( British Shit ) lol

stanleybmanly's avatar

I think it’s a mistake to attribute British Trump dissing with business as usual. “They hate everyone” just won’t cut it. I wonder if the contempt will be emulated here to the same extent?

Dutchess_lll's avatar

Because he’s a moron.
