Isn't it annoying that when you try to find something but you can't, you find something else that you were looking for before, isn't it annoying?

Asked by Darknymph (189points) August 27th, 2008

I try to find things I can’t and I find things that I needed before. It sucks.

Isn’t it annoying to read the same wording in the same question twice? But I get your drift, barely. Your car keys vanish, you tear the house apart, you find the 3 odd socks whose mates are now dust rags. Two days later you are looking for your sun glasses and find – Hallelujah – your car keys.

We call them “senior moments,” but they can occur at any age.

yes! this happens to me a lot. it sucks even more when the object you did find is useless to you now.

The US Government stopped funding the SETI (“Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence”) Project, because it is stupid to keep looking for something, after you have already FOUND IT.

But, I know what you mean. Happens to me, at least once a week, it seems.

I always find thngs in the very last place I look, for some reason. However, I knew this one guy who would find things in the next-to-last place he searched.

We avoided eating at the same table with him, in school.
