What's the income tax filing deadline for your state, province, or country?
As you may know, the deadline for filing US federal income tax returns, has been extended to July 15.
However, the deadline for filing your state returns might be a different date.

I just called my tax dude to verify the July 15 date, but nobody answered.
I googled to verify the federal deadline, and that’s when I saw notices that some state deadlines might be different.
I googled as well, and, well, crap. Calling my tax dude in the morning. Ugh.

Georgia (USA) changed the state income tax deadline to match the fed’s a couple weeks ago. July 15.
Hmmm. First I thought of this, thank you. I looked and ours has been moved to July 15th.
Every state I’ve done taxes in has used Federal adjusted gross income as a starting point. I would guess they will all extend the deadline.
My accountant and I were just wondering this two days ago. I will probably just go ahead and file state this week. I was also wondering if contributing to IRA’s and SEPs were extended?
Ours has been moved also. Whew.
Here in Georgia for state tax it is July 15 but any vehicle registrations due between March 16 & May 14 are extended to May 15.
