Why does the moon appear yellow now?

Asked by Magnus (2884points) October 17th, 2008 from iPhone

I’m Norwegian currently situated in Alabama and the moon appears to be yellowish now something that I have never witnessed before because the moon is mostly white in Norway. It just rained a lot if that helps.

let’s see you do a longer sentence

It is the dust. Dust in the air makes the moon yellow and more often orange.
