If I accidentally cleared a text message conversation on my iPhone, is there any way to get it back?

Somehow one of my conversations was cleared, and I would really like to know if there is a way to retrieve it. That would be fantastic.

You could restore it! Just hook up your phone to itunes and click on the restore option instead of sync. But if you have it set to automatically sync, it won’t work.

If I hit restore will it know to use the correct backup (from four days ago)? I don’t want it to restore to factory settings…

I figured it out: By right-clicking on my iphone in the sidebar, I was given the option to “restore from backup.”
