Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo with a ton of broccoli and chicken. A side of steam asparagus with mayonaisse, corn on the cob. A glass of iced sweet tea. And Butter Pecan ice cream with magic shell chocolate syrup for dessert.

Strawberry shortcake with fresh biscuits and homemade vanilla ice cream. This has always been one of my favorite desserts – even though chocolate is at the top of the list. And I could eat dessert for all three meals easily. :0)

A little dish of oil-cured olives and steamed fava beans in olive oil.
Local grass-and-bug-eating chicken braised slowly with a little white wine, onion, garlic, bay leaf. The liver should be sauteed in butter and sprinkled with kosher salt and given to me on the side as a late-arriving amuse-bouche.
Salad of homegrown perfectly ripe heirloom tomatoes, Bibb lettuce, red onion rings, salt, pepper, excellent olive oil and white wine vinegar plus a squirt of lemon.
Asparagus: steamed, tossed with sesame oil.
A baked potato with sour cream, butter, salt, pepper.
A bottle of Bohemia? Two bottles, one twenty-five minutes after the other to preserve the chill.
A slice of Tarte Tatin with some whipped cream on the side. A cup of very strong espresso along with that, please. No, not decaf, thanks.

(amuse-bouche: swoon)
(amuse-gueule: is the slang and not to be used in fine dining)

I’ll have what she’s having. ^^

soup, assuming it’s not the same type everyday

If you mean “meal” as in breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper… I would say breakfast has the most versatility.

Wow, judging by the GA’s, a lot of people really like Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo…a lot.
