What is the name of this sci-fi novel?

Set in the future, people “live” for only one day a week and the other six are in some kind of hibernation state. Any thoughts?

Dayworld by Philip José Farmer.
There are two others that follow. Dayworld Rebel and Dayworld Breakup.. All are great reads.

Are there any other books with this idea, i.e. ones which posit world’s so overpopulated that people live in shifts?
