I don’t have the disk you have so I don’t know about that, but I always install Python from the web.

http://www.python.org/download/

disk? I got Python 3.0 from python.org

When I unziped it, I got the

“Demo, Doc, Grammer, Include, Lib, Mac, Misc, Modules, Objects, Parser, PC, PCbuild, Python, Tools” folders and “configure, configure.in, install-sh, INTBENCH, LICENSE, Makefile.pre.in, pyconfig.h.in, README, RELNOTES, runtests.sh and setup.py” which are just individual files
I can’t possibly be that dumb…can I?
Also… ”...I always install Python from the web.” ummm, am I missing something?
Don’t you install every program ever made Just Once? Are you talking about installing it on diff. computers? why am i so tense???

Oh, I misunderstood you writing that you “bought” Python, for you having a disk.

As for installing every program ever made Just Once, not necessarily, but yes, in general I mean on different computers. I’ve installed it on many computers since I first used it over ten years ago.

Anyway, assuming you just want to install the Windows version on Windows, you can download the Windows installer 3.0 version, which is an MSI file, and then double-click that file and the installer should run and take you through an installation wizard.
