Are there any good kitchen knives made in the USA?

My Dad gave my wife and I $500.00 to buy a nice set of kitchen knives. With the economy in the tank I have been trying to focus on buying more American products.

I know Calphalon started in Ohio, but I’m not sure if they’re still American made… here’s a sweet set of knives that I want to purchase.

Cutco knives are expensive but worth it. Made in Olean, NY, they have a forever guarantee, and the company stands by it. (Their marketing is scammy, but they do get knives out there.)
