What if Fluther teamed up with Threadless to do a "Design a Fluther" shirt?

Who’s people do we have talk with who’s people to get this happening? Seriously, i think this would be awesome! It evokes the whole idea of the Fluther, to a great degree. A site where shirts are designed and voted on by the masses working with a site where ideas and questions are discussed by the masses.

it’s like, uhm, Ham and Cheese. or Bonnie and Clyde. uhm, Me and Marisa Miller. ??

I think I would like it a whole lot more if it was actually designed by a fellow jelly. Don’t think I would care to have Dr. J redesigned with a bunch of those ubiquitous paint drips. They seem a bit overzealous with their Photoshop brushes. Or maybe they could ask certain artists whose work they admire to do a limited edition artist collaboration? I’d buy one in a heartbeat if PupnTaco designed one!

Or a handrawn one by Pete!
Or a crazy thing thrown together by Uber!

I’d be all for it if the designs came from fellow Fluthers.

If that were the case, I’d be all over it like white on rice.

If it was put up on Threadless, it would be open to all registered Threadless users.
While registering is easy and everyone here could easily register,
I think their numbers would easily overwhelm ours.

I think we’d end up with a clever winner regardless,
but not necessarily one that encompasses the feel of this site.
I was kind of banking on that. :P

Might be a good marketing strategy though.
Advertising for the site in a roundabout way, I suppose.
But I probably wouldn’t buy it.

I think it would be more enjoyable for us to do a bunch of designs.

btw, did you hear what they did yesterday? They’d announce a “community coupon” on their Twitter, and the faster you input it, the more discount you got on checkout. the last coupon was $200!!
