Can you eat too many cheerios?

Asked by zarnold (708points) March 17th, 2009

I’ve been eating a lot of them lately; I just want to be on the lookout for potential issues with this. Thanks!

i hate cheerios, they are horrible, the honey and frosting one are pretty good though

What is too much? They have 22 grams of carb in 1 c serving. Do you eat them with milk? That is both good and bad since you get some protein, but more fat.

Once or twice a day should be OK.

Here, is some info about cheerios and their nutritional values. I’m not sure what your motive is for eating so many cheerios, but you certainly need a far more varied diet for basic nutritional health.

I don`t think so because my grandpa eats them everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and I don`t see how he doesn`t get sick of them.
but they are good for you

I eat a lot of Cheerios during the summer. Usually for breakfast and lunch. I think that you’ll be fine.

hmmmm one of my children ( we’ll never know who) emptied a box of cheerios into the toilet…the toilet thought it was too much and the lid was lifted straight into the air!! After bailing the cereal out…bailing and bailing…I agreed with the toilet…yep TOO much!

I think too much of anything is bad, but Cheerios won’t kill you.

Yes. But don’t worry, if you eat too many you’ll just vomit them up. Same as when you eat too much of anything in one setting.

If you have small pinkies and use them to eat your cheerios like I used to you might bite your finger off : )

It depends. For the most part, you can’t eat too many cheerios. I don’t know if you know about the Cheerios Diet? Essentially, you can eat all the Cheerios you want. For dinner, lunch, and breakfast, if you want (so long as you do it in that order).

There’s one thing you should be aware of, though. Ever since the cheerios Moon Rocket Fiasco, it has become a bit of a risk to eat Cheerios under a full moon. It’s kind of a reverse werewolf thingy. You kind of get hungry for a different kind of snack when you eat Cheerios under a full moon, as you can see, if you follow the link. But you knew that, already.

Anyway, as long as you’re careful (you do use condoms, don’t you?), and keep a close eye on the lunar cycle (living with a woman is good for this, but don’t tell her I said so), you can safely consume nothing but Cheerios for the rest of your life.

Not saying how long that might be, but just that it’s possible.

Have you ever noticed what happens to Cheerios left on the floor of a mini van for several weeks? They shrink into little, teeny, tiny fairy Cherrios.

Mmm. Cheerios.

Yes, you must not eat more than 100 at any one time or something terrible will happen to you. And I’m warning you, you better count them, if you know what’s good for you.

I’m eating cheerios right now! I eat them dry . I’m trying to stop but it’s so hard. I eat several small cups a day . I was buying 4 boxes a week at one time. I know what you are going through.
