If i had surgery on my ankle and had pins put in it years ago how likely is it that the marines will except me?

It depends on how old you are and your physical shape. I think with the “stop loss retention” problems they are experiencing, they may take you. Why the Marines? If it is not to personal that is?

i chose the marines because i wana go all out if im joining the service!! plus i think it would be a great expereince with the training.. and im 20 yearsold and in grat shape.. i just started working out and can run 2 miles in under 20 minutes

They won’t. I had reconstructive knee surgery when I was 15 and I was told I wouldn’t be able to enlist in the military. If the air force wouldn’t take me I don’t think the Marines are going to let anyone in that has had reconstructive surgery either.

I went to join the Marines when I was a teen. I failed the drug test and I was sent a letter of rejection. The guys name who signed it was Major Swett, I kid you not.

I hope that you get in if that is what you want. You are very brave to be joining at this point in our nations history.
