Star Trek expert needed to identify a sound effect?

Ooh…. I believe it’s a The Original Series sound, so start from there… sounds like a beacon or subspace somethingorother… I’m looking around :)

I found one site that had a list of beeps etc but none of them were that beep.

this clip is from the begining of the new movie. I think it is from older Star Trek but this one is more airy.

I listened to all those clips from that CD. They are selling them as single tracks on some sites. The last post from that guy was dated 2007.
