Xbox 360 video capture methods for under $50?

Asked by fortris (683points) May 30th, 2009

Woot! is having a sale of the Pinnacle video transfer for $50 today, but it is a very cumbersome way to record. I have a laptop running Vista, so that gets rid of a lot of capture card methods. Does anyone know of a good video game capture method for cheap?(if it doubles as a webcam feed that would be best)

Do you have an old VCR lying around? That would do it… Other then that any USB video capture device should be fine. Or you could try dis: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815306013

good luck

@tehrani625 The reviews make me kind of iffy on that.

yes, and all the other reviews say that it will do what you want to do just fine… Are you running vista 64bit or 32bit?

@tehrani625 32, here is the one I’m thinking about getting, but I don’t know if it can do live feeds.

it says that you can watch tv on your pc with it. What ever that means, I would say that that is live streaming. Its over your stated budget.

@tehrani625 Yeah, by 10 dollars. And its in HD. And wireless. And much betterer.
