Is there a way to create folders on the iPod Touch to put multiple apps in?

Asked by erichw1504 (26453points) August 11th, 2009

I have about three pages of apps on my iPod Touch and I’d like to have a way to organize them a lot better. Can you create a folder to place a group of apps in? Or should I just put them on separate pages? Like a games page, social page, tools page…

Not that I know of. A cheat for moving them around faster is to temporarily take one of the permanent 4 off the bottom and use that as a “basket” to move the apps around.

If you jailbreak there is an app called “Categories” that lets you create folders for apps. It works great.

Ya the poster before me is right, if you jailbreak it you can put them into catagories and hide them. You can also password protect apps like safari, music, photos, or any “risqué” apps you download from the app store.
