What do you believe in?

Asked by cecildooderbop (192points) September 6th, 2009 from iPhone

For my AP language and composition class we have to write a this I believe paper (go to the website to read more about it) but it’s just about something personal you believe. It must be specific and a paper you can write under 500 words.

So what do you believe in and what led you to believe in this?

Believe in your own abilities, love, neighbors (stupid American spell checker), that you will finish the paper on time, justice, whatever Fluther is full of great topics.

I believe in humanity. That most people want to be good. That love will find you. Apparently, I am a sap. I don’t care, I’m still going to believe it!

I believe that life is about choices, your results may vary. I also believe that since life is short, we should have as much fun as possible, we should help others to have fun, and that there is nothing more powerful than a smile. Giving someone a smile ‘just because’ can do more than you will ever know. Hell, it might even save a life.
