It’s just a joke. If you click on it, it tell you that you are narcissistic.

Give it a try. :)

I think it’s one of the founder’s off beat sense of humor. I didn’t think it was very funny, but I seem to be in the minority.

AngelKisses's avatar

Ok. I just clicked on it and it did take me to Narcissistic. Gave me a good laugh. Doesn’t take much for me. :-)

There are several sly little jokes like that around here. Sometimes we have to make allowances for each other’s senses of humor. I lurve the Fluthergods even though I would not hire them to write a standup routine.

AngelKisses's avatar

You lost me. I haven’t read far enough as to what lurve is. What are the basics of this site? Do’s and Don’t?

Slick's avatar

@buckyboy28 , Haha tried it, it takes me to Wikipedia the definition of Narcissism

I think Ben, Andrew and Tim are pretty funny in an off beat way. Their humor isn’t for everyone. Wait, does that make me quirky too?

Jeruba's avatar

@chyna, I think it does. And until this very moment I never suspected you of such a thing.

andrew's avatar

Let it be known that while my submissions have been rejected by Ms. Jeruba, I have been paid for my ability to bring in the funny. And actually, Ben has too—hired at least. <g>

timtrueman's avatar

Let it be known that I am in no way funny. Ever. But you’re welcome to give me money anyways.

Jeruba's avatar

I was joking, darlin’. I would too hire you. In a minute. If I were into standup. Which I’m not. That was just my sense of humor, you know?

WilAthart's avatar

haha i did it and it said i was narcissistic. i had a good laugh =]

gememers's avatar

haha, I wondered too. I was afraid it would add me and I would look like a loser, so I didn’t click.

HighShaman's avatar

Guess the owners or powers to be were just showing off a “Sense of Humor.”

YARNLADY's avatar

A lot of people seem to be taking it to heart. I have seen many people sprinkling the “new” word they learned all over the collective.

SuperMouse's avatar

I wouldn’t call their sense of humor off beat! It is just funny that when one adds oneself to one’s own fluther one is redirected to a page discussing narcissism. It is funny, just funny. Then again my quips are sometimes called “silly” so what would I know?

YARNLADY's avatar

@SuperMouse Variety is the spice of life. I just read that one Jelly thinks one of my favorite comedy shows is the worst, unfunniest show on TV, and when it comes time to vote for best and worst comic strip in our local newspaper, the comments about which one is funny and which one isn’t sometimes reach an unbelievable level of animosity.

Berserker's avatar

It’s a joke. The first time I did it I cracked up it was hilarious.

And yes, the “first” time, as I regularly click on it because it’s funny.

sillyrabbit's avatar

Click on it you will get a good laugh,,,lol

monocle's avatar

It’s a joke. I thought it was strange the first day I signed up, so I hovered over it and saw that it was an actual link that would have led me to Wikipedia: Narcissism. Then I lol’d. Then I clicked it.

thriftymaid's avatar

I wondered myself and clicked on it and nothing happened.

Finny's avatar

I really have no idea.

I don’t konw!
