So I bought a new laptop tonight and I downloaded yahoo messenger on to it and while I was reading throught prompts it asked me if I’d like to install the yahoo toolbar and I clicked on “no thanks.” It is still trying to install itself on to my computer. How do I make it stop?

No biggee. Go to View, then toolbars, then unclick it.

@judochop , what OS and browser? On IE7 or IE8, you can just let it install the piece of crap then disable it. Tools->Manage Add-ons->Enable or Disable Add-ons…
