Well, when you’re in jail, you either roll until you get doubles, pay 200$, or use your get out of jail free card.

I don’t know, but I would NOT recommend it. Trust me.

Jailbreaking is not harmful, because you can restore it at any time.

Unlocking is where you take the risk of bricking your iPhone. THAT is what is not a good idea. Stick with AT&T and you’re safe.

Jailbreaking is a download that reboots your phone and allows you to use outside applications but with a substantial risk of frying your phone.

Thanks @KimboSlice I had no clue what that term meant! I assume that ‘bricking’ your phone would be a bad thing!! Silly me I just use my phone to make calls nothing else, so I guess I’m safe.

@kimbo

There is no risk of frying or in any way damaging the phone when jailbreaking. Jailbreaking works by changing system permissions only. It is completely software based and a phone can be restored through iTunes.

actually I have heard of many ocassions of attempted jailbreaks that have resulted in the “bricking” of an iPhone.
