What is the most annoying song you or anyone else has ever gotten stuck in your head?
The Andy Griffith theme song, that friggin song from Juno, the whistle song from Kill Bill 1. Everyone has that song that sticks in your head, particularly when someone else is singing it. A friend of mine likes to hum Kidnap the Santy Claws song from Nightmare Before Christmas. What’s your song or what song do you like to irritate your friends with?

I don’t know and I’m so glad! I had a song stuck in my head last week that was so horrible I seriously considered trying to gouge it out of my temporal lobe with an ice pick. I don’t remember what it was, and I don’t want to remember. Ignorance is bliss in this case.

For me, it’s either Lambchop or the all-time most annoying. I hated to see my children growing up, except for when they moved out of the phase of needing to sing annoying songs from back seat if the car on long road trips. Add kicking the back of the seat to the experience…

There was that song. It was the Eurovision song contest winner the year I hitchhiked around Europe and it seemed to become big in each country just as I hit it. I don’t remember the name but the chorus went“Oohooh, Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep, Oooh!”

Tik Tok by Ke$ha. Every time I hear that song my soul dies a little. To think people actually like that song lowers my respect for the human race. That is the same for any lady gaga song

Certainly not. I definitely like Lady Gaga. Telephone, Just Dance, Bad Romance, Poker Face, Paparazzi…I love all those songs and I listen to them quite a bit. I also like her. I don’t judge people by their musical taste, unlike most people.

Tubthumping by Chumba Wumba. I wanted to beat my head against a wall until I dropped dead every time that foul song came on in 1998 or so. And it seemed to be on ALL the time—nonstop.

pop music sucks, it’s designed to appeal to everyone who doesn’t know real music. pop isn’t even real, after they get done with all the sound effects, filters, and enhancers, it’s like a computer made it. rock is the way to go :)

Actually, classical is the most “real” music and takes more talent than all the other genres. And it happens to be my favorite genre.

@DominicX I agree that classical music is the most real music, but rock does take talent to play drums, guitar, bass etc.
