how do I ask a specific person a question?

Click on their user name, and send them a message using the “Leave a Comment” box.

Either PM (private message) them on their profile (directions above), or make an @ sign in the answer box on a public question with the key on your computer. Then select their user name and then type out your question.

Also, if you want to ask a question to the entire collective, but make sure someone in particular sees it, you can use the Send to a friend! link (located next to the “Follow this question” button.)
