If you are not, then you are now. You have also thought about The Game, which means you have just lost. You must announce this failure to at least one other person by any means, as per the rules, which can be read here.
Aside from being at least mildly disappointed that you just lost something, what are your thoughts on The Game, such as your opinion on the White Bear Phenomenon?
How long have you been a player or, should I say, victim of The Game?

@lloydbird I think you’ve just lost twice rather than winning. Thinking about the game means you’ve lost, and that includes seeing the name of The Game…. I just lost again. Dammit.
Reminds me of back in teh day, when I was but a wee, internetless lass, and that I recieved chain letters threatening me with certain death if I didn’t reply.
And that’s all the attention I’ll pay to this, thanks.

Hmm… I denounce the premise that as soon as you know you are playing “The Game” you have lost. I think knowing you are playing is what creates change ;).
As far as the White Bear Phenomenon goes well what is there to think about it? Makes sense to me.
I’d rather not think about black bears :-p
I prefer my game that I call Boobs. Every time you think of them you win. MisAnthrope won earlier. I just won now. I am a winner, people! A fucking winner!!!!
Concerning the “White Bear Phenomenon”. I heard this dilemma described from a slightly different perspective. The explanation described how you get exactly what you focus your attention on.
So if you focus attention on trying not to think of something, you increase “trying not to think of something” in your awareness, which has the effect of thinking about it more.
The key is not to try at all…just don’t focus energy upon that particular thought or idea and you’re no longer thinking of it.

The Game is the most annoying god damn thing on the planet. And unless I really like you in real life, I will straight up hit you if you even start to play it near me.
