Do you think we could have a nationwide electrical grid that depends on highly conductive quantum nanowire?

I am happy to hear that research is being done on Alternative Energy sources.
I question would this work?

I don’t know much about conductive quantum nanowire, but I have read Pattington Bear.

Let’s get the smart grid first. Highly conductive quantum nanowires are a long shot that might be feasible or not.
