I can’t find good ones in my size for cheap. :(

Currently, I don’t. But I had a pair of green, blue, and yellow plaid capri pants that I loved in my early teens. I wore them until they were too small, and looking back at pictures of me in them I realize that it was not the best fashion choice I’ve made.

Hah : ) Man I did a second take

I tried some on once, didn’t like what they did to my butt.~

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

No.Not even when I’m golfing…and you can’t make me! ;)

downtide's avatar

No, and I wouldn’t, unless they were PJs. Actually the other day I saw a bloke wearing plaid pants and my first thought was “OMG he’s wearing PJ’s in the middle of town”.

tedibear's avatar

I have plaid flannel pajama pants, but I wouldn’t wear a pair of regular pants that were plaid. A plaid skirt though, that I can do.

I’m a female and a plaid suit would be a little “city” for where I live right now. My guy does wear plaid pants for work- Glen plaid, Windowpane plaid and tone-on-tone plaid.

mrentropy's avatar

I wear plaid pants when I’m being a paid plant.

None of me wears plaid pants.

Just plaid pajama pants.

Good god, no.

KateTheGreat's avatar

I wear plaid pants. But then again, I’m the weirdo that wears strange outfits to labs during the week :P

I’ll admit to owning a pair of plaid shorts. XD

Not since the 60s!

hobbitsubculture's avatar

Ah, if only. The ones I always find are pastel or something gross, when what I want are a tacky, geeky red pair. Had some kind of like that in high school.

I do have plaid pajamas and plaid shorts.

JilltheTooth's avatar

@hobbitsubculture: Hey, that “tacky, geeky” red plaid is probably my family tartan! Used to be on thermoses all across America, a source of great pride, that!

hobbitsubculture's avatar

@JilltheTooth Thermoses like this one? That is just how plaid pants should be.

I have a pair of blue/green/yellow plaid wool vintage trousers from the ‘70s. I’m waiting for the wide-legged look to come back in style to wear them.

faye's avatar

Another for plaid jammies. I had plaid everything in the late 60’s/early 70’s. When I think of the golf pants, my then husband won a pair of baby blue/pink ones!

rooeytoo's avatar

I often wear plaid shorts, but somehow plaid pants just aren’t quite the go.

ucme's avatar

I wear a Mickey Mouse thong when the occasion demands as much. You know, funerals….bar mitzvahs…that kind of vibe.

seazen's avatar

Why do you wear it on the outside?

ucme's avatar

You talkin to me? XD
Of course I do, kind of a habit I guess.

seazen's avatar

I understand the thong for Bar Mitzvahs, but it’s less appropriate for a funeral I think.

ucme's avatar

This is indeed the case, one “stiff” too many. Could become a little overwhelming.

seazen's avatar

Or underwhelming.

anartist's avatar

I wear paid plants.
Very art nouveau riche.

I’m currently wearing my husband’s plaid jammy pants, does that count? And I use my plaid flannel pillowcase, whether it matches my bedding or not. It’s the most comfortable.

wilma's avatar

I have Black Watch plaid jammie pants.

WillWorkForChocolate's avatar

@JilltheTooth wears plaid pants on her head. She told me so.

JilltheTooth's avatar

Keeps my ears warm.

You leave new people like me wondering if we will ever count.

Dutchess_III's avatar

You do. You will.

I know how to make plaid pancakes now, though!

Here2_4's avatar

Well, I don’t know if I should ask for the recipe or not, but I am laughing! and thanks

Dutchess_III's avatar

They’re videos on Facebook. Some people are superbly talented. Basically you put your pancake batter in a squeeze bottle. You draw the outlines of whatever you want to make, a happy face or whatever. Then you fill the rest in. The stuff you drew originally ends up browner than what you filled in. It’s really cool. Here is a video.

Some people are incredibly talented. One guy made several different types of monkeys. Another did portraits of all the Beatles.

I figure I could manage a happy face. Or plaid!

wilma's avatar

I miss you too @Dutchess_III .

Dutchess_III's avatar

Well, where the hell did you go?!

wilma's avatar

Something in my life tried to bury me alive. I’m slowly digging my way back up to the sunlight.
I will survive.
