Is it wrong to hate a certain race?

Asked by nerevars (221points) October 15th, 2013

I don’t mind doing 5k race but my running group wants to do 10k and I don’t really like them.

Listen to your body. if 10K is too much, then so be it. Maybe your running group can split into two sub groups.

(The wording of this question, on casual reading, was alarming and easy to misinterpret. I initially though you were talking about hating folks from a specific ethnic group and started to get my hackles up.)

@gailcalled The misleading wording was intentional. An attempt at humor, not a serious question.

Nah, I just hate people with names beginning with n.

God i’m good!

The problem is that many people will object to your dropping out after 5K, while they go on to do a 10K.
Some people just have issues with a mixed race.

@livelaughlove21 .Hm. Then why am I not laughing? Can you speak for @nerevars, or are you guessing, or is it simply a tired and overworked meme?

@livelaughlove21.:Thanks I guess I don’t get around to enough places any more—

The race I hate the most is that between the tortoise and the hare.

Certainly.

I, personally, (is this redundant) am not prejudiced, I hate everybody equally.

This is funny! 5K and 10K should be kept separate.

@nerevars I think your sense of humor is marvelous.

To clear things up. Yeah, I’m joking. You won’t find a question about ‘that race’ in Social Section.
