Can anyone give me an iPhone built in iPod player alternative?

I have an iPhone 3g running 3.1.2 and iTunes has been giving me trouble with syncing my music and I keep running into errors. I was wondering if anyone knew of an app that I could download to replace the built in native music player? My iPhone is jail broken and unlocked by the way.

I’ve tried dTunes already, don’t like it much.

I haven’t used it myself, but I’ve read about MewSeek, which from what I gather can play local media files on your jailbroken phone, but its main use is streaming music from online sources over the cellular data network or WiFi if you’re into that sort of thing.

I have thought of it but then I found out that app is for downloading music. I need an app that can sync my music I already have into the iPod player or play it independently.
