I know people who have zero web development skills use Godaddy to whip up simple, functional, low cost, low overhead websites.

Look at similar/competing sights and take note of what you like and dislike about them, then use that information to fine tune your own.

I agree with @Cruiser, you can DIY web site. I just like to spread the lurve around.

Imagine if people went to your site and said, oh nice, I can do this myself.
