Are there any basically insignificant things your SO does that are particularly endearing to you?

At breakfast this morning, my husband took the darkest piece of toast. In fact, it had burnt edges. Our toaster works perfectly, but the bread we like best doesn’t toast evenly. I can’t stand burnt toast. He claims he likes it just fine and looks for the piece that I’d like the least.

If there’s background music playing. She might do a silly happy dance for the heck of it.

He’ll make me a cup of tea.

Sometimes I see him spontaneously being affectionate to one of our dogs.

When he is happy, he will sing a little tune,

When I have to work on a Saturday, he will get up early with me so that we can have breakfast together. On the mornings when we’re both home, sometimes he will bring me my coffee in my favorite mug. (He did that this morning, in fact.) And I like how he talks to our cats. It’s silly and amusing.

He will get up during the night to let the dog go pee or to give him a drink of water, letting me sleep on.

He takes the garbage cans to the curb and brings then back on trash day.

My husband does the same as @Neizvestnaya…‘s

and to make me chuckle, he will bring the dogs in from a potty break in inclement weather, then say “Stay here I have to dry your feet now” Then he will take each of them seperately and wipe their paws on the door mat. “Oh what a good pup you are to wipe your feet off when you come in”
He then proceeds to wipe them down with a towel

He kisses me before he leaves for work every morning.

He yells for me if I am not in the room while he is watching a funny tv show. He wants me to share the funny with him.

He reaches out to hold my hand quite often.

He tells me he enjoyed his meal I prepared for him very often, literally says thank you sometimes.

He watches my favourite programme with me whenever I want (I have all seven series on DVD and it is my “comfort TV”). For some reason I enjoy it even more when he watches it with me.

If he’s not at my house he will call me every morning before he goes to work.

If he is driving somewhere he calls me and speaks to me until he gets to his destination (obviously he uses hands free).

He buys me donuts every so often.

During sex he often makes sure I am comfortable.

He’s always nice to my dog.

He kisses the top of my head or my nose a lot.

He always checks that things work in my house and, if he finds they don’t, goes out of his way to fix them.

Well, y’all make me smile. Thanks. It’s nice to know we can appreciate the good “little” things. Makes our personal world feel right despite the stupid things going on in the larger world.
