Can I connect a projector to an iPad?

A healthcare organization I work with in rural India, JSS (www.jssbilaspur.org) has a wall project and iPads and would like to connect the latter to the former. the iPads are iPad 2’s and the project is this model:

If it’s possible, what connector cord do we need?

Apple sells a special cable needed to do this. This is only available on Ipad2’s it is the digital av adapter on the link
