Video card problems, what is going on?

Asked by XOIIO (18328points) December 8th, 2012

Alright, so something wierd is going on, when I play most games, the video card that I have the monitor and game on shows usage, however when I play the game world of tanks, instead of my good video card, the worse video card shows its usage going to 80%. They are both nvidia cards, so what the hell is going on that it seems to be using the worse GPU for processing?

Well I figured it out, for some reason having my good video card in the primary slot is what caused it, that doesn’t make any sense but hey, problem solved.

Why do you have two different video cards in the same computer, that really doesn’t make sense either… Just put the best one in, and sell the other one… It’s really pointless if you have two different graphic cards in the PC, because the PC can only use one off them.. If on the other hand, both graphic cards are the same, then it is actually good… lol

Because I run multiple monitors.
