Once you get the scab on your ringworm sore after using apple cider vinegar do you let it stay or keep peeling it off?

My ringworm infection has taken so long to actually start healing, and now that it has I keep getting a hard scab.

Is it ringworm? I have had both ringworm (fungal) and impetigo (bacterial). The impetigo had a crusty scab.

Disclaimer: I know nothing about ring worm.
I’ve never been in favour of removing scabs, they are there for a purpose, let them do their job.
