Can you name a few things that only adults would know?

Asked by cheebdragon (18931points) November 23rd, 2014 from iPhone

It can be a book, movie, game, event….anything! As long as it’s something that most people under 25 years old, probably wouldn’t know about or recognize.
I’ll explain why I’m asking later, but here’s my list so far-

1. Gumby
2. Fire marshal Bill
3. The streak – Ray Stevens
4. Yak back
5. Gidget
6. Jonestown massacre

Who was the mascot for Ipana toothpaste?
What toothpaste claimed to have an ingredient called GL-70?

What hair product claimed that “a little dab’ll do ya”?

With what TV series are the following phrases associated:

Great Caesar’s ghost!

Some of the above might be answerable via Google, but what youngster would bother looking up such inane info? ;-p

I think you meant “Kookie, Kookie, lend me your comb”

Cookie is like Oreos or similar.
Totally different pronunciation.

There’s a clip of Ed Byrnes and Connie Stevens singing it on YT for anyone interested.
