My daughter’s dentist managed to screw up one of her teeth so much she’s going to need a root canal. Whoopee!

It is getting less and less painful.

^ one person’s filling with a sedative liner is another person’s root canal. Also known as, mechanical pulp exposure. But guess what, with the new sound imaging equipment, now your local country dentist can see those pulp horns before exposing them and, an automatic root canal. Specialist, people, can I not say it enough. On the bright side, we can now test chairside if your particular infection is going to respond to amoxicillin tried and true, because the level of antibiotic resistant bugs is at an all time high.

I was pretty amazed the last time I went to the dentist. They just put some things in my mouth and zoomed the camera around my face. Two minutes later my teeth were up on the computer screen dangling above my face. That is magic. And maybe it dates the second to last time I went to the dentist.

My dentist hardens composite resin fillings with UV light.

I had a lot of cavities, from a very young age. My best looking teeth are actually ceramic crowns installed after root canals.

So this amazes and delights me – Vaccine prevents cavities

@ARE_you_kidding_me My tooth was bonded that way 35 years ago. It’s not a new thing. They started using it for filling more recently, but even that has been for many years.
