I'm curious. What would you estimate to be the average price for a 12 pack of Coca Cola where you live? Include the recycling fee if any.

I’ve been told that the most expensive city in the country for Coke is the company headquarters of Atlanta

$4 for a 12 pack of any of the Coke products (suburban Atlanta) at Kroger.

Coke 12 packs are often sold as specials 4 for $10 or 4 for $11 so:
$2.50 or $2.75 . This is common around holiday time .

I don’t know the normal price since I only buy it for holiday parties.

In the US, soda is most commonly sold in 12 pack boxes of 12 fl.oz. cans (and individual 2L bottles).

hmm, i found a .33l can for 55c each, plus 25c recycling fee, per can.
so (0.55€+0.25€)*12=9.60€

Oops! Sorry. I forgot to add the mandatory $0.05 per can returnable can fee.
12 Cans = $0.60 That is returned when we return the cans. (Western NY)

I only buy cans of Diet in the summer, for poolside or picnic. I see 12 packs around 3 for 12 or 3 for 10.

About $55 per twenty-four 12 oz. bottles in a partitioned wooden flat, $3.50 per bottle purchased singly. I’ve never seen Coca Cola in cans or twelve packs here. The favored alternative for locals is the Cuban product, Jolly Cola, which retails for about $0.50 for a twelve ounce bottle. Jolly Cola tastes like cola, but is sickeningly sweet and way too thick to quench one’s thirst in this tropical heat. Children sometimes drink it as a very special treat, and adults drink it cut with white rum, usually at night on their porches.

Coca Cola is served from the tap on ice at all the hotels and B&Bs for about $5.00 in a Collins glass. As to retail, all I see are bottles of both being sold here and I’m not sure if there is a bottle refund as I never buy it. The prices are due to duties and linked the real money market value of the Cuban peso vs. the US dollar and not the internally issued new state Cuban Converso Peso, which is valued at 1:1 with the US dollar.

Currently $3.49 (Canadian) at the grocery store on my corner. Plus 60c for recycling, so $4.09.

Barring sales, the going rate for a 12-pack of Pepsi/Coke in this area is around $6.49, but sales are frequent. Granted, 2/$9 (or $4.50 each) isn’t great, but they also sometimes do “Buy 2, get 3 free” for en effective price of ~$2.50 each. Given that we have a multitude of chains here in Seattle, shopping around can usually find you a sale price comparable to the everyday price elsewhere.

And “elsewhere” includes a couple of companies known to be more employee-oriented than CEO-biased. Winco sells them for $3.49 all the time, and Costco sells 36-can cubes for about $10 (give or take 50 cents; the price fluctuates). Ponder the implications of that for a moment…

A 12 pack of Coke is around $5 here. Flat rate, no fees.

I refuse to pay that.
Last I bought Coke 12 packs?
4 for $9.
It took a little ingenuity.

In Portland, just glancing, a 12 pack of regular Coke sells for $6.59 at Safeway. The recycling fee is 5 cents per can.

A 12 oz. bottle of real Coca-Cola is $1.79, so 12 is 21.48 + 5 cents a bottle + $1.88 sales tax =23.96.

Whatever you guys are buying for 20 or 30 cents each, it isn’t real Coca-Cola. I get mine imported from Mexico with real sugar.

@zenvelo Thanks for the reminder; I forgot to add the 6.5% WA state sales tax and the 3% King/Snohomish County sales tax.

I normally buy Pepsi products and usually in 2 liter bottles but Pepsi and Coke prices are virtually the same. And since Mountain Dew (Pepsi) came out with their Sangrita Blast flavor I’ve had to buy cans cuz they’re not available in 2 liter bottles.

So, Kroger regular price is $3.70–4.00 per 12 pack. When on sale they’re $12 for 4 twelve packs or $9 for 3. When I stocked up on them and placed a special order of a dozen 12 packs, the manager was OK with the $3 per 12 pack sale price.

Plus the $.10 per can deposit adds $1.20 to each 12 pack. But I get that back from the machine when returned.

I’m hoping that next spring they’ll have Sangrita in 2 liter bottles as well as the cans. I just find the cans annoying to deal with and the large bottles are much more economical because they’re usually $1 or less when they go on sale.

At Walmart an hour ago Coke 24 pack’s were $5.98, plus sales tax, no deposit or other fees.

Pepsi cubes were 2 for $11 this week, each with $1 off coupon, so 2 for $9.
