Do any schools have indoor playgrounds?

Asked by JLeslie (65418points) April 18th, 2016 from iPhone

I’m just wondering if some schools have playgrounds for recess indoors? Slides and climbing bars, or something similar to what you find at McDonalds indoor play areas?

We didn’t have anything like that. We did have a gym we could sometimes play in on bitter cold days, or the teachers would let us play some sort of game in the classroom to burn off some energy.

It’s the gym.

I’m just going to point out Rule 34 on this. Do you want it to be real, or not?

The gym for rainy days. Also, free time in the classroom.

My sister’s school has an indoor climbing wall and some cubbyholes for the younger ones. No real play spaces, though.

A school I went to had a slide going out the window, in place of a boring fire exit.
