Going to buy a 6 for way cheap.

Pachy's avatar

Probably not. I’ve had my 6 Plus since it came out and it does everything I need.

SQUEEKY2's avatar

Nope, not at all.
See all I want in a cell phone is exactly that a phone a device that I can talk to people, do not need nor want a mini computer.
My flip does everything I want a cell phone to do,plus store phone numbers.

zenvelo's avatar

Not for a while, but most likely in the spring. When I saw you can get 256 GB of storage, my jaw dropped.

I don’t buy my phone. My work provides it for me. If I were to have to purchase one I would not.

Hypocrisy_Central's avatar

I would not buy a new iPhone, or Android even with your money, waste of money to me.

janbb's avatar

I got a 6 fairly recently so no plans for a new phone any time soon.

NerdyKeith's avatar

Don’t need to, my iPhone 6 is more than sufficient and it will be getting the new iOS

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

No. I don’t want to be stuck on another 2 year plan. I will keep my android galaxy lte until it breaks.

reijinni's avatar

Sticking with Android.

BellaB's avatar

Also sticking with Android.

Just recently got a 6 so no, I don’t need a new one. My 6 does everything that I need.

Apple phones are made for needy and insecure people.

I’ll stick with my Android.

imrainmaker's avatar

^^ And Android phones are made for…........(fill in the blanks please.)

AshlynM's avatar

No. Never have and never will. I don’t even like my Android phone.

Newp.

I got my Moto E for free from my prepaid carrier. Sometimes I even pay for service. Mostly though I use my Google Voice number when I have WiFi available.

I don’t phone much.

@elbanditoroso says “Apple phones are made for needy and insecure people.”

Citation required.

You are not going to get away with this grossly sweeping and generalized statement.

YOU are going to explain, in detail, how your statement is true. This is your opportunity to recover credibility on this subject.

There is a way out for you however: Admit to not understanding, or at least not appreciating what Apple’s products offer in terms of functionality and we will call it even.

You will describe to us how my carefully thought out decision to buy Apple based on functionality is the result of my own self delusion.

Oh, and please don’t argue against Apple’s billions in liquid holdings.

Toyota has enough cash on hand to buy all of Honda. I never hear anyone bitching about that.

janbb's avatar

@SecondHandStoke I agree with you. Why, in this already so polarized world, does anyone need to put down others for choosing a different fucking phone? That’s just boorishness.

SecondHandStoke's avatar

^ My issue isn’t with the put down itself.

It was with the fact that no basis for the statement was given at all.

Not a single iota of proof was provided to justify the assertion that my choice to use Apple products was the result of neurosis. His statement is untrue to the point of being laughable, at least in my case. “Insecure?” really?? I’d still choose an iPhone even if hardly anyone else did. I don’t make any of my purchasing decisions based on it being popular with the masses.

If there ever was a case of “If I have to explain, you’ll never understand” it would be my response to @elbanditoroso ‘s statement.

I gave him a fair chance to defend his position however.

I’m also going to be sticking with my Android. For me personally, I feel that Apple products are way too limiting. It’s the same reason I strongly prefer PCs to Macs.

Espiritus_Corvus's avatar

@SecondHandStoke You are hillarious! I mean, good argument, but… have a snickers or something.

Pachy's avatar

This is the one I’m holding out another year for.

SecondHandStoke's avatar

^ OLED.

Awwwwww yeah.

SecondHandStoke's avatar

@Espiritus_Corvus Thanks.

Snickers. I’m not really a sweets person.

I think I’ll treat myself to this instead

You, know, because I’m needy and insecure and everybody drinks it.

imrainmaker's avatar

Fruit beer..never tried it before.

flutherother's avatar

Happy with my Samsung Android. I won’t be changing.

Espiritus_Corvus's avatar

It hasn’t even crossed my mind. But I’m not bombarded 24/7 with advertising everywhere I go. So nice. It’s nice enough to suffer the slings and arrows of not being on top of every single new product, trend, threat, fear, obnoxious politician or meme that invades our lives everyday. It’s background noise now. It’s been reduced to artifact. And I am so utterly, happily unhip.
