Any other thing that you can think of that a human being can take advantage of each other.

When someone “uses” someone, they try to find what benefits them, regardless of their gender.

@Anonymous05 Your question presupposes women use men for money. Besides being a patriarchal view of things, it is also flat wrong.

Women desire partnership for the same reasons men do: companionship, stability, interdependence, and love.

The key word in the question is “use”.
If you take the word at face value, then I guess dating and money pretty much covers it.
Everything else requires a sort of give and take, which is not the same as the raw selfishness that “use” implies.

@josie Judging from her previous questions, I guess she is thinking of it at face value.

There’s an old line that “men talk to women in order to have sex with them”, and a corresponding line that “women have sex with men in order to talk with them.”

But mostly, and usually, it’s whatever people work out among themselves.

He keeps my feet warm, especially in winter! Does that count?

Security. And someone to talk about with their female friends.

Not sure I would say “use.”

My husband is handy for lifting heavy things.

He’s nice and warm usually (usually men are warmer than women) and I’m often cold, so he is a good heater to snuggle up against.

The average man is physically much stronger than the average woman, and taller, so I use them to put my carry-on in the above your head compartment on a plane.

I use my husband’s penis. I have my own money and don’t use him to go on dates with. When we go out, it’s because we both want to. Otherwise, I have friends.

Haha this is hilarious. I am happily single buy when I was married I used my husband to take out the trash, kinda miss that part, but not enough to still be married to him. LOL

I forgot. I do use him as a driver too. I hate parking. I’m fine at driving, but he’s much, much better at parking. So he drives much more than me.

How would I know? My wife ran off with my best friend. And I sure miss him. They just took my house and left. It was a mobile home.

security, entertainment, fulfillment, etc.

Sometimes I use them to get extremely tight lids off of jars.

Physically men are usually larger and stronger than women, so I would use men for protection. My dad and brother would protect me if anything happened, like a robbery or something. I’m tiny and small. And use men to carry large items for me, grab things way too far out of my reach, open jars of lids that are too tight, remove bugs & insects for me, and throw the trash/garbage away.

Making babies. Reaching for things on the top shelf. Scratch our back in those hard to reach places. Quick foot massage when you have a foot cramp. Warm up the sheets (guys are usually physically warmer) in winter. Help carry in the heavy groceries or anything too heavy for us to lift. Drive us to the hospital when we are too sick to drive. Watch sci-fi shows with.

I agree with the thoughts on the word USE. I think I would’ve asked what are things that men bring to a relationship that is often overlooked.

Nothing. Well at work I ask the men to change the water bottle on the cooler.

Scratching posts. When you have an itch that needs to be scratched…

^ Good point. Back scratches and foot rubs. My husband is very useful in providing those.
