Is google trying to manipulate & brainwash people?

Asked by sbgOWA (11points) August 13th, 2017 from iPhone

Is google against MAGA, appears they are inveterately stirring issues for racial tension via propaganda.

One thing to note, @sbgOWA is that Google does not MAKE the web pages, it indexes them. Google finds web pages and makes them available. So if you have a problem with what is found, then talk to the website makers, not Google.

Second, maybe Google is giving links to honest and law abiding websites instead of peddling right-wing poppycock.

@sbgOWA My experience with google has been very negative. They once took over my online calendar and wanted me to put in a password every time I logged in or tried to use my calendar. I found google to be VERY INVASIVE. I had to do a lot of jumping through hoops and deleting to get control of my computer again. Wherever I can, I avoid everything google. Do NOT search with it or browse with it. I agree they manipulate by sheer control!

Everyone is trying to manipulate and brainwash people.

I heard that Bing will come over and mow your lawn if you use them.

Of course. Everyone is. The whole world is specially crafted to brainwash you and manipulate you into submission. Trust no one. Hide underground.

Maybe. If I had been brainwashed, I wouldn’t be able to answer the question with any honesty.

Is MAGA something to do with Trump? If so it may simply be a typo like COVFEFE.

From my experience and from what I have read, google is doing the opposite of brainwashing. It creates individual echo chambers by returning sites based on your previous choices.
