Fans of Lisbeth Salander, how would you rate the latest film "Girl in the Spider’s Web"?

I am a grouch about sequels and franchises. The surprise and discovery is gone.

And The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo was a HUGE surprise for me. I avoid violent movies, I avoid bloody movies. True story – I rented it thinking it was about Buddhism or something like that.

That movie was great. But still I’m weary of the follow-up.

I really liked it, I would give it four stars too.

The story didn’t have quite as much of the cleverness of Lisbeth as the first one did, but still enough for me to enjoy. I did like Rooney Mara better than Clare Foy. But Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was a five star for me, so just a bit better, but four stars for this enjoyable movie.

I have yet to read “the dragon with the girl tattoo”, starring lizbeth salamander.

Correction: “wary” not weary.
