Did you receive your stimulus check in the mail?

My MIL on SSI is the only person I know who got a paper check.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago. The date on the check is April 27. I’d say it took at most a week.

Every time someone writes the words “stimulus check” I think of prostitutes checking in on their customers.

- I got my meager amount as a direct deposit; I don’t know anyone who has received an actual physical check. I recently read that they’re now sending prepaid Visa/Mastercard debit cards instead.

I don’t know when it was sent. I’d look at the check to see when it was dated, but I deposited it on May 20.

My in-laws finally received their check last week! We are so relieved. They still have not received their 2019 refund, which they mailed to the IRS back early February. The 2019 had their bank information, so the government must have used their 2018 return for their stimulus. Now, we have to address why the hell they haven’t received their 2019 refund. They sent the refund in with their daughters at the same time and she received her refund in a few weeks. I think it might have to do with my FIL’s SS # being ripped off several years ago.

Yes, I did. It came by mail on May 11th. I don’t know when it was mailed; it was a bulk mailing and not postmarked.

Mine was direct deposited, but my friend received his check at the end of last week. I sure am glad he finally received it because he was driving me crazy calling me daily wanting to know why he hadn’t received his check.

That form the irs had that said when they would mail the check said mine would be mailed on April 24th. It arrived on the 27th.

It arrived late this afternoon. So about a week after it was mailed. Perfect timing too because my husband has been furloughed this week with no pay and rent is about due.

Just got it recently. Reportedly it is taking a long time to send to everyone, especially people not already on a direct deposit payroll system, and it will take longer for some people than for others.
