Regarding a table fan, what is a motor housing and what is a guard?

I lost the image of the fan on google, but that’s where I saw it.

The housing is like your house. It’s where the motor “lives”. And the guard is merely the screen or grate to shield objects like your fingers from the spinning blade.

@SergeantQueen Thanks for the link. The diagram I saw was referring to were about the external parts of a fan.
