Why do you think it is that Trump and his followers have yet to talk about, or even acknowledge, the white Nashville suicide bomber?

Asked by ragingloli (51968points) December 31st, 2020

I think we all know why.

For the love of Pete – be patient. They’re still trying to figure out how to connect this to antifa or Islam.

Is it relevant?

The police have no motive yet and know far more than us. He had zero political or religious ideals to explain his actions, no social media.

Are you implying he’s a Trump supporter because he’s a random white guy? Seems a little premature for conjecture to me.

elbanditoroso's avatar

Because he was white, not black, Arab, or Hispanic. If he had been a minority person, Trump would have been all over it.

And apparently a believer (or adherent) to Qanon.

Silly question.

POTUS is not public speaking on anything right now.

The Nashville bomber was a certified whack job, including believing the government is run by lizard people.

@_____ FYI: Antifa or Islam would not very likely give out a warning before the blast.

From what I heard he became unhinged over conspiracy theories on Facebook about 5G spying on people. That’s why the van was parked in front of the Verizon building.

One of my real life friends posted on Facebook that she would like to know who and why someone tried to blow up Nashville and one of her friends responded “Democrats.” This same guy thought it was great when the trucks were tailgating and surrounding the Biden bus in Texas and in my opinion is a perfect example of why we have division in America.

Patty_Melt's avatar

I don’t think it was specifically about political party, but after all the fires, riots, and other violent insanity Dems have put us through all summer, I feel no surprise that some would feel suspicious about any further violence.
The difference in this case would be, the bomber gave opportunity for evacuation. That would be vastly more considerate than people who killed children around the country in the name of liberal interests. Don’t even bother to demand links, because all of you know damn well it is true. Links go right over your heads anyway.

Here is why I haven’t been making noise about the bomber. I don’t know him.
I don’t know his reasons.
I don’t live in or near Nashville.
I didn’t have my phone service interrupted.

Now, here is what I would like to know, why aren’t dementiacrats commenting on how brave the cops were to put themselves in harm’s way to evacuate the area?
Good thing there were cops around, huh?

JLeslie's avatar

@Patty_Melt All the Democrats I know have said that the cops were great, took it seriously, cleared the area. The cops definitely received credit from every Democrat I know. Initially, we were worried that the cops might be targets, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Perhaps they are all lizard people.

Demosthenes's avatar

Because they know their conspiracy bullshit fuels these kinds of attacks? If that was his motive, it was only a matter of time before 5G conspiracy theories went from vandalism to terrorism.

Try me, @Patty_Melt. I’d love to see some links about children being killed for liberal causes. A little ideological child murder is a good way to start out the new year.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Desmosthenes I’m sure she means the children dead by stray bullets and some repercussions of violent protests this summer. Chicago specifically.

Demosthenes's avatar

@KNOWITALL I thought maybe that was it; didn’t want to assume. I agree it’s egregious. I don’t know if I would characterize it as “dying for liberal causes”, but it did seem that the protest movement and the left more broadly was fairly indifferent to it.

KNOWITALL's avatar

@Desmosthenes Agreed.

The “fires, riots and other violent insanity” in the summer of 2020 all started because a cop decided to kill a black man by putting his knee on the man’s neck while the man died, in plain view for all to see, and on video. The cop played Judge and Jury, which was way, way beyond his pay grade and job description. That, as far as I can remember, was the start of the fires, riots, and other violent insanity.

LadyMarissa's avatar

Is it relevant?
It would have become relevant IF he had been Black, Hispanic, Muslim, or less than lily white!!!

I don’t remember any children dying at the hands of liberals however, I DO remember a conservative child feeling entitled to murder several adults

JLeslie's avatar

@KNOWITALL Seems to have the most pertinent answer, we don’t know anything for it to be reported.

Hopefully, the FBI is working on it, I keep hoping that about all of these type of things including rioting and looting (not to be confused with protesting).

I think also the media doesn’t want to give too much attention to these type of horrible acts, because there is fear of copycat.

We need to stop being divided politically about violence, all good people should be condemning violence no matter what their political affiliation.

This NBC News story says that two law enforcement officials are looking into statements that Warner made about a conspiracy by reptile people in cahoots with the Clintons, Obamas, Justin Bieber and Bob Hope. Makes as much sense as anything else. We will just have to wait to see what turns up, but it would not surprise me if the guy was some rightwing crackpot.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Kids getting killed by stray bullets has nothing to do with conservative vs liberal. To suggest it does is ludicrious.

It would be nice, though, of @Pattymelt provided us with a link to what on earth she’s talking about.

Yellowdog's avatar

The thing about it is, the Lizard / Reptilian alien theory about world leadership probably isn’t even true,

LadyMarissa's avatar

45 would argue that you’re wrong because there are good & bad reptilians on both sides
