I would think that it is less common than say a 17 year old boy dating a 15 year old girl.
At the same age, boys are less mature than girls, which would be why it is more common for a girl to date an older boy. But 17 and 15 aren’t too bad, I guess, if you really like him. It’s just up to you to put up with his immaturity, you can’t expect him to be as responsible as an older guy.

depends on the maturity level of each. most boys aren’t very mature at that age (think they finally mature somewhere in their 30’s, but only a little). But, if she’s not either, it would work out just peachy.

ya thanks, Im the 17 year old lol and I like this guy alot and he is really mature for his age i think so anyways. =)

Well if you think so it wouldn’t hurt to try. Unless you’re afraid of losing him as a friend if it didn’t work out. But that’s up to you to weigh up. Good luck.

I think that as long as you are both interested in dating one another, you should. You should keep it age appropriate, but other than that there’s really no problem.

No is not weird :)

Oh, I just thought of something, just make sure the guy really does like you for you, not because he’s using you to show off to his friends for getting an older girl!

Not really, maybe unusual but not weird.

Dont you know the rule for figuring out of age difference is creepy or not? Half your age plus seven

Age ain’t nothing but a number.

It’s all about maturity level and being in similar enough places in life. Other than that, all concerns are the same as any other relationship.

No. Do whatever you want.
I’m 18 and involved with a 15 year old. Illegal I know, but fuck everybody else.

I don’t think so.

Not really…my last girlfriend was 21 and I’m 19.

Consider how it would be if things worked out for the long haul- a 43 year old woman and a 41 year old man. It wouldn’t be weird. It’s just that when you’re young, 2 years is a more pronounced difference because it’s a bigger percentage of your life than it would be if you were older.

When I was 15, my first serious GF was 42.

And yes, it was that kind of relationship…

It’ll get weird in a year when she is a legal adult and he is not.

At their age, by the time a year is up they will probably be with other people anyway.

If you like this guy and he likes you, don’t worry about who thinks it’s weird, just enjoy your time with him. If anyone says anything to you aboutn it, tell them to mind their own business!

If anyone says anything to you about it, tell them, “I’m hoping to have his baby, real soon.”

To Hell with those nosy clods!
