What do you do on the weekends?

Asked by joli (633points) August 24th, 2007

I’m curious to know how people here spend the weekend; taking care of chores/errands, or are they organized enough to get out and have fun, instead, on their days off from working to pay the bills.

Working around my house..running errands..camping..climbing..spending time with friends..dinner..drinks. Last weekend, I went kayaking for the first time. I anticipate I do more of that in the future.

Clean my house from top to bottom, go out for dinner and drinks with friends, and when the weather is nice, like today, i weed my garden.

Every Friday night is date night with my hubby. We collect cookbooks from all over, especially places we’ve gone on vacation. We cook something new each week. On Saturdays we clean up and shop. Saturday night is family night…we watch movies or play games. Sundays…during football season….we have snacks all day and watch Saints football. When it’s not football season, we just hang out together. I love the weekends, because my husband and I get to spend a lot of time together after our hectic week, and we also get to spend time with our daughter and puppy. Weekends are ” no rush”, “enjoy yourself” times which I would not trade for anything.
