Turkey tettrazini with the last of the turkey. I was away for Thanksgiving so we had turkey when I got back. I usually run out of bird before I get tired of it. After this, there is not even enough to make soup. I’ll probably snag another one around Christmas for later.

And what about you, cc34, what’s in your pot of the moment?

We went to visit the Vanderbilt Mansion Today, so we had dinner in Hyde Park. I had a wonderful Polynesian Chicken Salad. It was scrumptious!

Chicken cutlets. Pounded, egged, breaded, fried in o oil, then finished with a lemon and sherry reduction.

Spaghetti with last summer’s tomato sauce were the side dish. I would have done a vegie, but I’m trying to reduce stress and that is a fairly intense prep meal, especially when your 8 year old son wants to help. Hey. He only got about a quarter of the can of tomato paste splattered on him and the counter. The rest went in the thicken the sauce.

Note to self: make more breadcrumbs. You’re almost out.

Blue Harvest Squash. Yummy.

Chex Mix. But I made it in the micro wave and it is not as tasty as when baked. Also I used Smart Balance Spread rather than butter and it did make a taste difference.

Hubby cooked me some keilbasa and we ate it on potato rolls with shredded cheese, sour cream, mustard and onions. Yum.

A crab. Already cooked by Safeway. I had to pick out all the meat, then mixed it with chopped celery and a lemon mayonnaise and ate it all up standing at the kitchen counter, except for the bits that I gave to the kitty.
It was marked down. Why am I not surprised to find that a marked-down crab bought on a Sunday evening is just about to go bad….....

@augustlan that sounds yummy!!

I’m at work, so as always during the week, I’m having dinner here. I don’t get home until hours after dinner time. We found a great Asian tea house to order from, so tonight I am having Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork.

And tonight I made Pork Chops Baked In Sour Cream out of the Joy of Cooking. And some zucchini sauted in not much olive oil, with onion – both veg a little bit caramelized, really.
