According to Intellihealth.com: "toddlers with Down syndrome walk between 15 and 36 months"

Whenever they're ready. Each child is different & it depends on their muscle development, muscle laxity and many, many other factors. Your grandson will walk when he's ready, Mom. ::hee:

Is the child having physical therapy? If so, the P/T can give an estimate based on her/his knowledge of that child’s development.

Agreed with maggiesmom. It depends on their own set of needs.
