Why could I see an Amy Goodman interview on my laptop but only hear audio when I hooked my laptop to a digital projector?

I clicked to an interview on a website so I could share it in a class. The images were on the laptop screen (ie talking heads) but NOT on the big screen when projected. The rest of the web page was there and the audio was fine. But the projected web page screen didn’t carry the image.

Oh my gosh. Well it was my teaching partner’s laptop. I had never heard of it…maybe Acer. ??? It was plugged into an institutional thingy in the wall and that connected to the digital projector. Everything else worked beautifully, including dvd inserted and played/film. And from MY laptop, a Gateway, a film clip from a web site. It was only this one web site that didn’t work.
