Mac App to download website?

Asked by MamboCube (34points) January 18th, 2009

I’m trying to download I clients website onto my mac (they don’t have the FTP information, don’t ask me why! :S), but am having difficulties as it is password protected. I have an account with the site, but the applications i’ve been using seem to be unable to log in to the site and continue downloading.

Is anyone aware of any applications that may help me?

Thanks!

Have you tried SiteSucker?

Interarchy is very powerful. Free for 9 days. I used to use it all the time, but now Dreamweaver handles most of my FTP for me.

@PupnTaco: Havn’t tried site sucker, but it doesn’t say anything about being able to log in to sites. :S

@simpleD: I’m not trying to FTP, im trying to download through the browser, without having to have to copy the source of all the pages myself.

Thanks for the help so far though!

Interarchy should let you connect using http so you can see and download the contents of the site directory.
