I'm thinking about moving to Providence. What is best part to move to and why?

I lived in Providence for a couple of years. I lived on College Hill, which is on the East Side, near Brown University. I liked the college town vibe. I don’t know too many different parts of the city that well, but I do remember that Fox Point and the Wickenden St areas were pretty cool. It depends on what you are looking for—What are you looking for?

I lived there many moons ago, and consider it my hometown.
It is such a kick ass city! I go back and visit whenever I can get away.

If you have the funds, definitely the East Side for all the reasons answerjill gave.
Fox Point has gotten pretty rough the past couple of years though.
