Another masturbation question...

Asked by Sparkie510 (397points) February 26th, 2009 from iPhone

Do girls get turned on by male masturbation? Maybe it’s time to hear about the boys routine, seeing as the girls covered theirs so well in the previous thread!

The boys routine has already been covered. It’s right here.

As far as the women weighing in on whether the male manipulation is a turn-on, hopefully you’ll get some responses here. I’ve got to admit, I’m pretty curious as to what the ladies think of this.

Sorry – I missed that one, but the boys answers were a bit lame to say the least. Personally, I do find it quite a turn on – would be interested to hear what the other flutherbabes think…

Just like anything else sexual – some girls are and some are not.

I’m not really turned on by watching a man masturbate, no. For instance, if I was sitting on the couch and my partner started wanking it enticingly, it would not entice me. If we were both in the passionate mood it still wouldn’t really be something that would turn me on, but I do get enjoyment out of masturbating the guy.

hmmm… a slow response so far. Is it too early for masturbation? I guess most of you American flutherites may not be ‘up’ yet.

dynamicduo's avatar

Yeah it’s getting close to 8am here in Ottawa, that’s the east coast, so it’s around 5am over on the other side of the country. Fluther tends to be most active during the North American evening and NA workday.

@dynamicduo – The thought of a guy “wanking enticingly” is giving me the giggles.

Hmm. Does he paint a little face on it, and make it mouth suggestive comments?

I’m thinking the whole masturbation thing is getting beat to death.

dragonflyfaith's avatar

It used to be. However, after 5 years of marriage, walking in on my husband is like a big slap in the face for me.

A word of advice – never get sperm in your eye. It gives you eye ache for hours. Ahem, so I’ve heard…

I suppose all that wiggly thing stings your eyes I guess

Sparkie510's avatar

Definitely more of an ache than a sting – right at the back of your eye.

frigate1985's avatar

in the BACK?!?! how the he** did it even get there???

Sparkie510's avatar

Dunno – I guess the little guys swam there. Weird thing is, the ache doesn’t come until about an hour after the event.

frigate1985's avatar

Maybe it takes some time for them to wiggle there…they die in 1–2days anyway so you need to suffer for only 47 hours hehehe

I’m going to say no, for the most part. I think the appeal of a woman masturbating has something to do with the taboo nature of the act and the fact that it is less common. I think there is also the perception that it is harder for a woman to achieve orgasm, or that she ‘needs’ to get off less often, so it seems like a rarer, more appealing occurrence. The general view of male masturbation is that they do it all the time, and it’s easy to toss one off. And men are in general less sensuous in their approach to self-love…

Sparkie510's avatar

@TitsMcGhee. Is it less common though or do women just not admit to it? Love the name btw!

TitsMcGhee's avatar

@Sparkie510: Haha, thanks :) I think it is less common as to the number of women who do (I have met very few men in my life who don’t masturbate), and for most women, it is less frequent than the rate at which a man does on a daily or weekly basis, but everyone is different. I’m positive that more women masturbate than admit that they do.

Big difference between 1) walking in on boyfriend jerking off and 2) being with boyfriend while he pleasures himself (and maybe you do too at the same time). One is exclusionary – you have to wonder if he’s thinking about someone not you (probably TitsMcGhee, let’s face it); the other is friendly. Nice to see the other person getting exactly what they like. And you can learn from it.

@Sparkie510…. i would think anything that doesn’t come right away would be a good thing no? even if it is sperm induced in the back of your eye :p
By the way… they little swimmers didn’t get all the way back there… both your optic and ophtalmic nerves are in the back of your eye… hence any kind of unusual trauma will eventually produce pain in the back of the orb.

Thanks Dr C!

oh I see. It would have been creepy if they actually swam…could make a new movie…“The Slime” with icky, gooey whiteish slime running around the house…

As @Bluefreedom coined it in another thread, watching a guy wiggling the “purple headed yogurt slinger” does nothing for me.

dragonflyfaith's avatar

I’ll never eat yogurt again.

Sparkie510's avatar

@dragonflyfaith. Especially as it’s also used to treat thrush!

@Dr_C That answer could be given for most of the questions here lately.
